Instant Pot Split Pea Soup

A nice plate of Pea soup, so tasty and delicious in oh so simple steps.

Ready in : 40mins (Prep: 10mins; Cook: 30 min)

Ingredients

  • Chicken broth – 4 cups
  • Celery stalks chopped – 2
  • Carrots cut in halves – 2
  • Cloves of garlic minced – 3
  • Big leek – 1
  • Diced ham – 4 ounce
  • Dried split peas – 12 ounce
  • Salt and ground pepper
  • Cut bagel chips – 1

Method

  1. Place the chicken broth into the Instant Pot ans set to Saute setting
  2. Add up the vegetables (except salt and Pepper) as they are cut into the instant Pot
  3. Secure the lid and change the settings from Saute setting to high pressure, allow to cook for 15 minutes
  4. After 15 minutes,  discard the thyme sprigs and season with pepper and salt
  5. Serve with bagel chips
